JOIN US FOR MARINE CITY MARITIME ~ PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE (Limited Seating of 48)

Noted Maritime historian and artist Robert McGreevy will speak about the great storm of 1913 and one of the few crews that survived and their relationship to Marine City. Mr. McGreevy will also be proclaimed as Marine City's official resident Maritime Artist.

Dave Trotter, noted Great Lakes diver, will be on hand to show his movie of the discovery of the Detroit, a side wheel steamer built in Marine City.

Lifelong Marine City resident, Jim Beattie, will be speaking about Maritime artifacts retrieved from his father's ship the Hazard, built in Marine City and his brother's experience as a 42 year Captain of the Boblo Boat the Columbia. 

The evening will be capped off with the unveiling of the 5 foot scale model of the side wheel steamer, Marine City, to become a permanent fixture of the Mariner Theater.

Included in the festivities will be appetizers, wine, beverages & dessert.
