Join us for a magical evening in Nautical Mile Park (477 S Water St) on Thursday, December 4th at 7 pm as we light up the night with holiday spirit.
The evening will feature lighting of our Community Christmas Tree, standing proudly in the heart of the park. This year, we are adding even more holiday sparkle with the Twinkling Forest-a dazzling display of beautifully lit trees that will transform the park into a winter wonderland. To make the evening more festive we will have Carolers, hot cocoa and cookies and Santa.
Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, Hermie and the Abominable Snowman will be on display for the kids and families to enjoy. Check out our art winners and see their art on display.

Become part of the TWINKLING FOREST! Our goal is to display over 100 twinkling trees to create a forest of lights that will be an attraction for residents and visitors. Thousands of visitors drive the Christmas Light Tour from Port Huron to Algonac each year. Now Marine City will add to this magical experience with our amazing Twinkling Forest, decorated homes and illuminated downtown.
Businesses, families and organizations can purchase a tree from the Chamber to be part of the Twinkling Forest attraction and event. The trees are 6’ tall and made of rebar. You will then decorate your tree with SOLAR POWERED LED lights only (no bows or ornaments please) and we will finish off the display with a wood star signifying your business, loved one, organization or family name. Lighting will take place on the Thursday before Merrytime Christmas at 7pm. Your tree will be used each year in the Twinkling Forest and the hope is to add more trees every year and expand our forest.
