The Morelli Cafe building sits right on the edge of the St. Clair River and began as a bait and tackle shop that also offered boat rentals. Customer demand for a hearty breakfast to start their fishing day led to the transition to food preparation. That was well over 50 years ago. Today diners can watch the frieghters, yachts and fishing boats go by as they linger over breakfast or lunch.
