TRAVELING TO MARINE CITY


From Detroit
Take I-94 East to the 26 Mile Road exit (Exit 248 toward Marine City). Turn right (east) onto 26 Mile Road (becomes Marine City Highway). Take it to the end, about 13 miles. Turn right onto King Road and then left onto West Blvd. (at the traffic light).  The next traffic light is M-29/Parker St.  Turn right for west side shopping, Riverside Plaza, and Algonac State Park.  Turn left for waterfront shopping, lighthouse, museum, beach, and international ferry.  For these attractions, follow M-29 around the curve and then straight to the river.

From Blue Water Bridge/Sarnia, Ontario, Canada
Take the first exit which takes you into Port Huron.  Turn right on M-29 (Pine Grove Avenue) and follow downtown Port Huron directions, below.  This is the scenic route, following the river.
Or:
Take I-94 West to Exit 262 Wadhams Road. Turn left (south) on Wadhams Road.  Follow Wadhams Road south, it will turn into Indian Trail after dipping down and over a small river.  Stay on Indian Trail to Marine City Highway and turn left (east) on Marine City Highway.  Take it to the end, about 2 miles. Turn right onto King Road and then left onto West Blvd. (at the traffic light).  The next traffic light is M-29/Parker St.  Turn right for west side shopping, Riverside Plaza, and Algonac State Park.  Turn left for waterfront shopping, lighthouse, museum, beach, and international ferry.  For these attractions, follow M-29 around the curve and then straight to the river.  This is the faster, inland route.

From Downtown Port Huron
Take M-29 (Pine Grove Avenue/Huron Avenue) south through Marysville and St. Clair.  When you enter Marine City, you will come to a traffic light at Heritage Square, featuring Old City Hall.  Turn right for west side shopping, Riverside Plaza, and Algonac State Park.  Turn left for waterfront shopping, lighthouse, museum, beach, and international ferry. 

From Canada via Blue Water Ferry
Take the Blue Water Ferry from Sombra, Ontario, right into historic downtown Marine City.
